Calf Stretch Knee Straight

Instructions

Sit on the floor with your affected leg stretched out in front of you.

Bend your good leg at your knee joint with your feet flat on the floor.

Take a small towel and wrap around the ball of your affected foot right below your toes.

Grab one end of the towel in each hand with your hands directly above your knees.

Gently pull back on the towel while bending your foot up toward you and keeping your knee straight. You will feel a gentle stretch in the back of your lower leg and your heel.

Hold the stretch for 15 to 30 seconds, and then release.

Move back to the starting position, with your affected leg straight on the floor and the other leg bent.

Relax for a few seconds, and then repeat the stretch 2 to 4 times on each side.
