Shallow Standing Knee Bends

Instructions

Stand with your feet separated shoulder-width apart. If need be, rest your hands on a chair or counter for support.

Squeeze your hips, then slowly bend both knees, lowering yourself such that you squat a bit just like you are about to sit in a chair. The bend in your knees should not be too much that they go past your toes. Also, make sure that your pelvis is not tilting forward or backward, and your heels stay firm on the floor.

Hold for a count of 5 to 10 seconds.

Then, rise slowly to a standing position.

Repeat at least 8 to 10 times while relaxing between each repetition.
