Stand at the entrance of a door.
Raise your affected arm and place it against the edge of the door such that your elbow is a bit above the level of your shoulder.
While keeping your shoulders relaxed, slightly bend your upper body forward. This should give a gentle stretch to your chest and shoulder muscles.
You can also rotate your body a bit away from your arm on the door to outward rotation at the shoulder and further engage those muscles.
Hold for a count of 15 to 20 seconds.
Rest and repeat the same with the opposite side.
Do at least 2 to 4 reps on each side.
